Lin Lin, Ph.D.
Chief System Architect — Wireless
Dr. Lin has over 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry, with a concentration in wireless communications and signal processing. Since January 2018, he has been with Jabil as Chief System Architect — Wireless, focusing on Jabil’s 5G technology development, particularly advanced wireless product manufacturing.
Prior to Jabil, he held senior technical leadership positions at several world class companies including marquee names like Nokia (former Alcatel-Lucent), Ericsson, CommScope/Andrew and Nortel. In 2003, he co-founded the technology consulting company Metricomp and served as its president until it was acquired in 2009. His algorithms on transmitter linearization and audio coding were widely deployed in the wireless communication and digital audio broadcasting industries.
Dr. Lin received his B.Eng. from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, and his Ph.D. from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, all in electrical engineering.
