April Butterfield, vice president of Technology, Automotive and Transportation, has been named a 2023 Businesswoman of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ).

 

April Butterfield, vice president of technology, Automotive and Transportation, has been named a 2023 BusinessWoman of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ).

In her role as the vice president of technology for Jabil’s automotive and transportation division, April Butterfield is at the forefront of launching innovative new technology to market on behalf of leading global automakers and vehicle manufacturers.  

April is passionate about introducing young women into the world of technology and has played important roles in STEM initiatives, leading Jabil to participate with local schools, organizations and panels with the Girl Scouts of America, Utah Economic Summit, WITI (Women in Technology International) and Tampa Bay Tech. 

BusinessWoman of the Year remains one of Tampa Bay Business Journal's most anticipated and coveted honors, as it continues to boast some of the most dynamic and influential businesswomen in Tampa Bay. For nearly 20 years, the Tampa Bay Business Journal has recognized and celebrated the exceptional achievements of Tampa Bay’s outstanding businesswomen. 

Over 200 nominations were received for this year's awards, which honored thirty-one women who lead their industries in everything from banking and technology to construction and innovation.
